Tania D’Agostino, Owner of Fiesta Mexicana in Uptown, Chicago

Grubhub Partner since May 2009

In 1979, Tania’s mother opened Fiesta Mexicana to bring Mexican cuisine and a homey atmosphere to their Uptown neighbors. Fast forward to today, Tania has worked at Fiesta Mexicana for 20+ years and now owns the place – keeping up the restaurant’s tradition of being woman and family-owned.

What does it mean to serve people in your neighborhood?

My family strives to create a “home away from home” feeling for everyone who eats our food, and we are proud to serve our customers. We’ve had employees work with us and neighbors eat with us for many decades, which means a lot to me.

How’ve Grubhub’s marketing tools helped your restaurant?

Grubhub’s promotions help us reach new and existing customers – which is exactly why I originally started partnering with Grubhub. When we run promotions, we always see jumps in ordering. It’s exciting to see how the business has grown.

What’s your favorite dish you serve?

People come from all over Chicago for our whole red snapper in garlic butter sauce.

What is one thing you’d want other restaurant owners to know about Grubhub?

Grubhub is easy to communicate with and shows its cares about helping small business restaurants by consistently driving third-party delivery orders.

What does the future look like for your restaurant?

We have been around for 40 years and want to continue to serve good food to compete with other restaurants, so we can operate for as long as we possibly can.
