Grubhub Grows Convenience Offering with CVS Pharmacy

Just in time for the start of daylight saving time, customers can score deals on health, wellness and other convenience items so they can spring forward with ease

With daylight saving time around the corner on March 10, Grubhub surveyed consumers to better understand the implications of the time change. 62% of respondents said they feel the effects of the time change for at least a week, and 51% said the time change makes them tired for a few days.* So to help customers spring forward with ease and fight any grogginess from losing that hour of sleep, Grubhub is delivering a little bit of joy with a Daylight Saving Essentials promotion where customers can score free health and wellness favorites to help them bounce back from that hour less of sleep.

Customers can now tap Grubhub’s first national drugstore partner to order all their health and wellness essentials this cold and flu season

More than 2,000 locations in 16 states are available on the Grubhub Marketplace for delivery. 

Cold and flu season peaks between December and February, but there has already been a high and early uptick in respiratory infections this year. A recent Grubhub survey found that 47% of respondents are likely to avoid traveling to the drugstore when they are feeling sick, with 67% saying that they would turn to a delivery service for their over-the-counter medicine and wellness needs. Additionally, 39% of respondents said they plan to buy cold or flu medicine in the coming weeks. With this partnership, customers can order all of their health and wellness needs in one spot, from vitamins, pain relief and medicine, to hydration drinks and their favorite feel-good snacks.

Buyk’s inventory will be available on Grubhub’s Marketplace through Buyk and Grubhub branded concepts

Grubhub, a leading U.S. food-ordering and delivery marketplace, and Buyk, the newest real-time grocery delivery service, announced today a partnership to bring ultrafast grocery delivery to the Grubhub marketplace through Buyk and Grubhub branded concepts.

The fulfillment and delivery of orders will be handled by Buyk, and customers will be able to order from more than 30 initial participating locations in New York City and Chicago in the coming weeks.
