The original location of Byron’s Hot Dogs opened in 1975, and before he was ever the owner, Michael was a big part of building the business. After years of working at the restaurant (and other hot dog stands over the years), Michael bought Byron’s Hot Dogs in 2006.

What does it mean to serve people in your neighborhood?

It means a lot. We’ve been around for a long time and are extremely grateful to our customers who keep coming back. This industry can be tough, but what keeps me in the business is watching people eat our food – it warms my heart.

How have Grubhub’s marketing tools helped your restaurant?

After experiencing ups and downs in the restaurant industry over the years, I saw Grubhub as a chance to reach more customers. In the 14+ years of partnership, I’ve found Grubhub’s help with advertising really does bring us orders from both new and existing customers.

What’s your favorite dish you serve?

It’s pretty obvious – hot dogs!

What does the future look like for your restaurant?

Business is going well, so we want to do everything possible to keep the forward momentum. Hopefully we will be able to open a third location to share our hot dogs with even more customers.
