East Village Pizza was established in 1997, and working at the restaurant was Frank’s first job after moving to the U.S. from Turkey. Although Frank only worked at the pizzeria for 6 months initially, he came back and bought the place in 2003.

What does it mean to serve people in your neighborhood?

East Village Pizza gives me the opportunity to meet lots of different people. My goal is to have regulars, and I am grateful that we have a lot of them.

How have Grubhub’s marketing tools helped your restaurant?

The promotions have helped us reach new customers through advertising.

What’s your favorite dish you serve?

Our signature pizza – and my personal favorite – is the margherita pizza!

What is one thing you’d want other restaurant owners to know about Grubhub?

It will save you labor with delivery and it’s very easy and convenient to use.

What does the future look like for your restaurant?

I hope to make East Village Pizza a landmark pizzeria in NYC. I also hope to continue to grow our Grubhub orders.
