O’Neill’s is a casual American family restaurant that has been in Deirdre’s family for three generations. Deirdre’s grandfather (George O’Neill) opened what started as a bar in 1933 and father (also George O’Neill) took over and expanded it to a restaurant – now Deirdre is helping run the place.

What does it mean to serve people in your neighborhood?

It’s amazing – the most important thing is we touch so many people in the community. Without our customers, we do not have this business, so we strive to always get better and make it right for the customer.

How have Grubhub’s marketing tools helped your restaurant?

Overtime, our average number of Grubhub orders have increased – so Grubhub is not only more timely and efficient but it’s also driving up our number of orders.

What’s your favorite dish you serve?

Our top selling items are burgers, wings and porterhouse!

What is one thing you’d want other restaurant owners to know about Grubhub?

Technology and consumer behavior is changing so quickly, and Grubub helps you adapt and reach your customers. It’s also easy to use – my mom is 80 and she can even see how easy it is!

What does the future look like for your restaurant?

I want to keep my family’s legacy going – I have lots of nieces and nephews who can take over, so I hope O’Neill’s is open for another 100 years.
